I'm happy to announce that The Tiger Princess is now available on the Kobo  e-reader! You can now get the first book in the Saderia Series here on Kobo.

It has also recently become available in many other formats and on many different ereaders such as Sony's ebook store.

I also had a great time at the Savannah Children's Book Festival last Saturday! It was really fun and exciting! The park where the festival was held was beautiful and the weather was wonderful!

It was a very cute and fun festival -- costumed characters were walking up and down the sidewalk and everyone was having a blast!

Overall, I had a wonderful time at the festival and I can't wait to do it again next year!

Happy Friday everyone!

I’m very excited about the weekend! Tomorrow, on Saturday, I’m going to Savannah, Georgia to participate in the Savannah Children’s Book Festival!

The Festival will take place from 10 am to 4 pm and it will be held at the beautiful Forsyth Park. I will be signing all four books, The Tiger Princess, Dash, Hunted Home, and Enchanted Home, during the festival.

You can read more about the festival here.

I’m really looking forward to the festival tomorrow! If anyone is in the area, I hope to see you there!

Congratulations, Belinda! You have won a free, signed copy of my latest book, Enchanted Home from the contest I set up at the SC Book Festival.

Thanks to everyone else who signed up for the contest! I had a great time at the festival and it was wonderful getting to meet so many new people and see some of the books that were out on the market. Thanks again to those who entered the contest. I hope you'll check out the website to learn more about the books or the characters. :)

On Saturday, April 21 from 2:00-5:00, I will be at the Aiken Country Square Open House and Book Festival with my first three books in the Saderia Series, The Tiger Princess, Dash, and Hunted Home! Several other authors will be there signing books as well.

In addition to the book festival on Saturday, I will also be visiting a few schools the day before the festival starts to talk about the writing process.

I'm really looking forward to visiting the schools on Friday and I'm excited to be at the book festival on Saturday!

I am also excited about my fourth book in the Saderia Series, which I will hopefully be releasing sometime next month! I will post more information about the newest book in the series sometime within the next month.

I am very excited! In just a few days, I will be attending a big event as a part of the SC Author Connection! What is the SC Author Connection? The SC Author Connection is a group of three South Carolina authors who will be going to several different book fairs and book festivals throughout the year.

I am a part of the SC Author Connection, along with Sybil Nelson, author of the Priscilla the Great series and several adult and young adult novels, and Elysabeth Eldering, author of Finally Home, along with several other young adult and children’s novels.

I first met Sybil at the YALLFest in Charleston and talked about sharing booths in future events. She had had contact with Elysabeth prior to the YALLFest and later on introduced us through email. After a few emails, we agreed to form a group to go to different book festivals and decided on the name SC Author Connection. Eventually, I designed the banner for the SC Author Connection that we would use at all of our big events. The image on the left is a picture of the banner I created.

Our first big event that we will be going to as a group will be the SC Association of School Librarians (SCASL) Conference. I will be traveling about four hours up to Greenville, SC to participate in the SCASL Conference for three days, Wednesday the 14th, Thursday the 15th, and Friday the 16th. I am very excited to get to go to the SCASL Conference with the group! More information about our next big events, such as the SC Book Festival, will be posted soon!
